Let's start at the very beginning.
The first vehicles I can remember from about age 4 - 5 were my parents. They included a 1958 Corvette, a 1969 Honda CT Trail 90, a red gold medal flake flat bottom boat with a blown 392 Hemi, a 1956 Willys Wagon and yes of course the mid 70's Ford Gran Torino wagon. The wagon was brown but had very cool mags with fake knock offs. Needless to say it was like a red hot branding iron pressed into my brain. Cool cars/boats/jeeps/motorcycles were always going to be a part of me.

WHY NOT, RIGHT?
Its been a while since I actually posted anything on our family blog. Christi has taken that on, and I think she is doing a great job. Life seems to have really taken off since the birth of our children. For a while there it seemed that we had a hold on life. It wasn't a strong hold by any means but it was a hold none the less. We had a home, a business, and we were living the American dream. Maybe sometime I will write all about the roller coaster that has been our life till now (at least the way I perceive it to have been). Right now however, I just simply miss the things that I always worked so hard to enjoy. I really mean that too, I have always been one that is willing and anxious to work at having fun.
I love putting a good trip on the calendar. I so look forward to meeting with my best friends and talking the talk that almost nobody else can appreciate. Its been so long now since we have been able to do just that, that it feels like a passing memory, not a living reality. I know that there are legitimate reasons for the time that is passing, but legitimate doesn't make it O.K. with me. The trips will recommence that I promise.
For now, I'll take a moment to indulge myself in the petty passions that give me joy. I have no real specific plan for this blog, but to share the things I have a passion for on a totally personal and selfish level.
